Aiming to create an immersive soundscape, Yoshitake used various types of speakers, resonators, mics, and magnetic pickups to capture the sounds from electronic devices as a physical phenomenon of air vibration, not as an electronic signal.

Yoshitake Kawai is a sound artist, from Kyoto Japan. After studying craft and architecture design in art college, he mainly started working with modular synthesizers. Being active since 2017, he has performed at different venues at home and overseas, including the iconic “Make it Up Club” in Melbourne Australia.
